AJ Auxerre, 15th, visit Lille on Sunday at 21:00 on the 34th and final day of Ligue 1, hoping to clinch direct safety. According to L'Équipe, they will be without right-sided Romain Faivre and left-sided Fredrik Oppegard, the latter out with an ankle problem, as well as Bryan Okoh, while Clément Akpa is a doubt.
The major setback is Okoh’s rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, leaving the Switzerland Under-21 centre-back, 22, facing at least six months out.
There is further uncertainty in central defence, which could force a start for Telli Siwe, unused since 27 September at PSG, a 0-2 defeat, rather than Francisco Sierralta, whose last outing was on 21 December in the Coupe de France against Monaco, a 1-2 loss.
Akpa halted training on Thursday with an adductor problem and is due to have an MRI, with a decision scheduled for Saturday.
Midfielder Oussama el-Azzouzi remains sidelined and will not be available even if Auxerre must go through play-offs against Saint-Étienne or Rodez.
