Ligue 1 salutes Luis Enrique as Tour de France links Barcelona and Paris | OneFootball

Hours before the 2026 Tour de France begins in Barcelona on Saturday, Ligue 1 posted a playful nod to Luis Enrique on social media. This montage connected Barcelona and Paris while highlighting the Paris Saint-Germain coach's passion for cycling.

According to L'Équipe, the league's official accounts shared images placing Enrique in the two standout cities of this 113th edition.

One image shows him in FC Barcelona colours in the Catalan city, where the race opens with a team time trial on Saturday.

The other depicts him in Montmartre, on streets set to be used by the peloton on the final stage before the Champs-Élysées.

A former Barça player and coach, Enrique is a keen cyclist who rides regularly in his spare time. He remains on holiday before PSG's return on 25 July, leaving time to follow a race scheduled to finish in the French capital the following day.
