Lille face Fribourg in the Europa League at 21:00, with their league-phase survival on the line. Captain Benjamin André returns from injury to start, while Olivier Giroud is named among the substitutes.

According to L'Équipe, Lille sit 21st in the league-phase table and will secure a play-off spot with a win. A draw could be enough, and even a defeat may still take them through.

With several players missing, Bruno Genesio has gone with a largely familiar XI as he chases his first win of the year. André missed the past three matches with a left shoulder injury.

With Hamza Igamane out for a long spell, Genesio has chosen Matias Fernandez-Pardo to lead the line. Giroud drops to the bench after 10 consecutive starts. Romain Perraud makes way for Calvin Verdonk at left-back.

If booked, Berke Özer, Nathan Ngoy and Aïssa Mandi would be suspended for Lille’s next European fixture.
