Originally starting her career with Hibernian, Robertson gained international experience with a spell in the United States before returning to Scotland with Glasgow City, where she was part of their 2013 treble-winning side.

Following another stint at Hibs where she lifted three Scottish Cups and four League Cups, she made the move south to Durham before joining Celtic in January 2020, where she played a key role in helping the Ghirls secure both a Scottish Cup and a historic first SWPL title.

In August 2021, Robertson joined English top-flight side Birmingham City on a season-long loan, gaining further playing time at the highest level.

After making the switch to Hearts in the summer of 2024, the Scottish internationalist returns to Paradise, having spent four years in green and white during her previous spell with the Hoops.

Speaking on her return to Glasgow, Robertson said: “It feels really good to be back at Celtic! I'm really excited to come back and I can't wait to get started.

'I've been away for a year, but coming back I know the majority of the girls and the staff, so I know what everything is about.'

"I know the expectations and I know the drive that is needed within this club. So I'm excited to be part of it again."

Celtic FC Women Head Coach, Elena Sadiku added: "We’re very happy to welcome Lisa back to the club.

"She brings great experience and leadership to the group, and her quality on the pitch will be a big asset for us moving forward.

“Lisa understands the culture of Celtic, and we’re excited to work with her again as we build for the new season.”
