Sunderland could face a summer battle to keep Enzo Le Fée, with Liverpool and other Premier League rivals circling after his standout campaign.

TEAMtalk reports that several Champions League-chasing clubs, including Liverpool, are monitoring the 26-year-old midfielder’s situation.

Le Fée has been among Sunderland’s leading performers this season, producing four goals and six assists in 31 appearances and showing poise and vision in midfield.

Liverpool are not alone, with other top-flight sides with European aims tracking developments, which could create competition for his signature. Sunderland are said to be keen to protect their position by offering improved deals to key players.

Le Fée is considered a priority in that group alongside Noah Sadiki. Despite the attention, the report adds that Le Fée is currently happy on Wearside, though a formal approach from an elite club could be hard to refuse.

Le Fée joined Sunderland permanently last summer after an initial loan, in a deal worth around £20million from AS Roma. He signed a contract to 2029, underscoring the club’s long-term commitment.
