There will be other market opportunities for Liverpool to explore, too. One of those seems to be a move for Mor Talla Ndiaye, who as per the Liverpool ECHO is now closing in on a move to join the Reds in January from Amitie FC in Senegal.

The report claims Ndiaye will link-up with Rob Page's U21 squad. He's a promising 18-year-old defender who caught the eye at the U17 World Cup, and who has been regularly playing at senior level in Senegal's second tier for his current team.

It's expected that Ndiaye will need time to acclimatise to England and there will be no pressure on him to be involved with the first-team.

But he is an exciting player. Tall and quick as well as being very comfortable on the ball, which makes him an ideal profile.

He is also left-footed and plays as a left-sided centre-back, which is a position where Liverpool are lacking depth.

The ECHO's report also claims that once the move for Ndiaye is completed, it is expected that Amara Nallo will leave the club.

The U21 defender is set to go out on loan, with numerous clubs interested in his services.

Nallo arrived from West Ham United and he is an extremely talented defender who is very highly rated by the club's academy staff.

He's been unfortunate to have been sent off in both of his first-team appearances at competitive level so far, the first coming against PSV Eindhoven last season and the second against Crystal Palace in the League Cup this season.

But despite those unfortunate scenarios, Nallo has retained an excellent reputation and has stood out with his performances for the U21s.

He's definitely ready to make the next step in his career and being exposed to senior football will be a great opportunity for him to grow and develop.
