Liverpool equalled a Premier League record after losing 2-1 to Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday, the decisive goal arriving in stoppage time.
It was their fourth defeat this season decided by a goal conceded after the 90th minute.

The same fate befell them against Crystal Palace on matchday six, Chelsea on matchday seven, and Bournemouth.
Arne Slot’s 2025-26 Liverpool now sit alongside Southampton and Watford in the Premier League era, since 1992.
Across Europe’s top five leagues this season, only Genoa have fared worse, suffering five defeats after the 90th minute.
