Liverpool make contact over deal for Real Madrid star | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is attracting serious transfer interest from the Premier League.

This comes amid the understanding that Eduardo Camavinga has made his way onto the radar of Andoni Iraola’s Liverpool.

Midfielder Camavinga is of course fresh off a disappointing campaign in Spain’s capital. Owing to a combination of fitness problems and simple lack of form, the Frenchman struggled to establish himself as a regular starter.

Such woes even culminated in Camavinga being left out of France’s squad for the World Cup.

These developments have given rise to widespread speculation, linking the 23-year-old with a summer departure from Real Madrid.

And as alluded to above, late this week, a new suitor – namely Liverpool – have positioned themselves firmly in the race for Camavinga’s signature.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing TEAMtalk:

‘The English club have already contacted Real Madrid to find out exactly what happened with Camavinga. The situation is that Real Madrid are willing to sell the Frenchman for around 60 million euros.’

It is also noted, however, that the player himself remains unwavering in his desire to stay put at the Bernabéu.
