Liverpool have found another €100m superstar to sign as they pivot from Alexander Isak. A new mega-signing looks to be on the way.
Liverpool went into this summer with Alexander Isak as their primary target. They were just never certain he was actually available.
Newcastle United's UEFA Champions League qualification was always going to make a move incredibly difficult, with a record-breaking asking price set the moment they achieved their goal. The last week or so, however, have hope.

Isak is pushing for a move to Liverpool and continues to do so. Newcastle would be inclined to sell, too, if only they could find a replacement.
That's proving remarkably difficult, though, and the Reds saw an offer rejected last week. Newcastle have since failed to land Benjamin Sesko and there aren't too many decent strikers left on the market.
A fact also proven by Liverpool's own pivot. If they can't get Isak, they're determined to spend €100m elsewhere.
L'Équipe reported on Wednesday that Liverpool had eyes on Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola. The Frenchman has dropped to fourth-choice in their attack, opening the door for a possible sale.
Now journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims an offer is to be made.
"Liverpool Football Club set to proceed with a concrete offer to Paris Saint-Germain!" he writes on Twitter. "Reds very determined to transform their interest into a bid during recent talks.
"Deal won’t be under €100M. Isak situation explains this #LFC new strategy. Real impact."
