Liverpool have reportedly named their price for Luis Diaz after rejecting a bid from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
The Bundesliga champions have been linked with the Colombian attacker after he played a key role in the Reds’ Premier League title win, scoring 13 goals in 36 top-flight appearances.
Bayern made their interest in Diaz official on Tuesday, submitting an offer worth £58.6 million (€67.5m) to Liverpool, The Athletic reports.
The bid was “immediately rejected” by the Merseyside outfit, who value the 28-year-old at upwards of £86.8m (€100m).
That figure is said to be an accounting value; the club have not set a sale price and have no intention of doing so.
Diaz has “made clear” that he wishes to leave Anfield this summer after attracting interest from clubs abroad, including Barcelona and Al-Nassr.
However, Liverpool are adamant the left winger is “going nowhere” ahead of next season as he is seen as an “important part of their plans” for the future.
Diaz has two years remaining on his current contract, but there has been “no sign” of him renewing terms, which could force Liverpool into making a difficult decision on one of their best players.
Diaz move to Anfield from FC Porto in a deal worth £37.5m plus £12m in potential add-ons in January 2022. He has gone on to score 41 goals and provide 16 assists in 148 appearances in all competitions, winning the FA Cup and two League Cups as well as the Premier League.
