Vinicius Junior getting fed up at Real Madrid

And left wing could also get an upgrade - with Arne Slot’s current options including Cody Gakpo and Rio Ngumoha.

We have seen the likes of Michael Olise and - increasingly - Antoine Semenyo linked with a potential move to the Premier League champions.

The 25-year-old doesn’t appear to be at his happiest under new head coach Xabi Alonso.

Vini's contract up for renewal

Vini has only gone to 90 minutes four times in 12 LaLiga matches this season - cutting an increasingly frustrated figure when he’s been replaced.

Alonso has even rotated the Brazil superstar out of the lineup on occasion - leading to speculation that the winger is getting fed up at the Bernabeu.

All of this could not be happening at a worse time for club president Florentino Perez - with Vini’s contract expiring in 2027.

He wants a mammoth renewal which could match or even eclipse the wages of Kylian Mbappe and so far Madrid haven’t agreed to his demands.

Liverpool consider offer for Vinicius Jr

Now Fichajes is claiming that Liverpool are now alert to the situation regarding Vinicius - and could launch a €100m bid for his services.

“The English club is considering submitting an offer close to 100 million euros to try and lure the Brazilian, at a time when his relationship with coach Alonso is not at its best,” the report reads.

“This situation has sparked interest from Liverpool, who are considering a move to revamp their attack following Salah's potential departure to Saudi Arabian football.”

The Reds could plough Salah’s £400k per week wages into Vinicius’s contract at Anfield - and he would also be a readymade upgrade on Gakpo in attack.

The idea of having the likes of Isak, Ekitike, Wirtz and Vini in an all-star attack is a tantalising prospect.

This would be an audacious move - but with talks between Madrid and their star forward at an impasse there may never be a better time to strike.
