PSG have been monitoring Victor Osimhen for over a year, and with the summer transfer window approaching, speculation surrounding the striker’s future is intensifying.

According to GIVE ME SPORT, Manchester United are growing increasingly concerned, as PSG are now considered the frontrunners to sign the 26-year-old. The French club are reportedly prepared to meet Osimhen’s wage demands and activate his £63 million release clause—giving them an advantage over both Manchester United and Chelsea in the race.

Foot Mercato also reported this week that Osimhen has reopened talks with Manchester United. The Premier League club, still searching for a proven No. 9, have resumed negotiations from where they previously left off. The reported terms include a €12 million annual salary for Osimhen and a total package worth €75 million—including bonuses—for Napoli.

On Tuesday, TEAMtalk reported, citing sources, that Liverpool have become the ninth club to join the race for the 26-year-old striker and are open to including Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa in a potential swap deal.

While Osimhen may not be Liverpool manager Arne Slot’s top priority, the Nigerian striker is now being seriously considered. The report added that Liverpool have opened a direct line of communication with Napoli to explore different possibilities, including a swap deal.

Recently, Fabrizio Romano reports that Galatasaray and Juventus remain interested in Victor Osimhen, while Manchester United are hesitant due to his high wage demands but haven’t completely ruled out a move.
