Liverpool welcome Fulham to Anfield for Saturday afternoon’s crunch Premier League contest.

Arne Slot’s troops return home for the first time in nearly a month and will be keen to put the horrors of their recent travels behind them.

The Reds haven’t won since overturning a 1-0 first-leg deficit against Galatasaray in the Champions League last 16 with a thumping 4-0 victory at Anfield.

They have failed to win in three consecutive fixtures across all competitions, losing to Brighton & Hove Albion, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool will hope they can turn things around, although their most recent meeting with Fulham didn’t yield a positive result either.

Both sides settled for a share of the spoils in a dramatic 2-2 draw in which a long-range belter from Harrison Reed snatched a point for Fulham deep into stoppage time at Craven Cottage.

Liverpool will fancy their chances of turning up the dial on home turf, but their recent form has been unconvincing, and the stakes are higher than ever for Slot.

They have recorded just two wins in eight matches across all competitions (D1, L5) since the start of March, slipping into a run that has raised serious concerns.

Their last three defeats have been particularly damaging, with the Reds losing by a combined score of 8-1, including a heavy 4-0 loss to Man City in the FA Cup.

Liverpool are still in the race to secure a top-five finish, but can’t afford any more mishaps with Chelsea just one point behind them in sixth place.

How Liverpool could line up

Giorgi Mamardashvili will come in for the injured Alisson, while Andrew Robertson replaces Milos Kerkez at left back.

He’ll join Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Jeremie Frimpong, with Slot likely to return to a more familiar 4-2-3-1 set-up.

Curtis Jones could make his first Premier League start since late February at the expense of Alexis Mac Allister, joining Ryan Gravenberch at the base of midfield.
