One player who could be cashed in this summer is Luis Diaz. The Colombian has got a complicated contract situation, meaning his position this summer is at risk.
Diaz, 28, is under contract until 2027 and Liverpool’s efforts to renew him beyond that date have so far come to nothing. The winger wants a hefty pay rise - with his current deal reported as being worth £55,000.
So far there are no indications that Liverpool are prepared to go that high - and if the impasse remains then he might be sold.
Richard Hughes will be desperate to guard against losing the Colombia international for free and a reported asking price of €80m has been mentioned.

Having just completed the Spanish double, the Catalan club are planning for next season and Diaz’s name is once again in the frame.
That’s according to a new report in Relevo, which claims sporting director Deco sees Diaz as the ideal attacking solution for his team’s left wing.
One complicating factor however is Barca’s precarious finances, which will again see the club require sales before money is spent.
“Liverpool's Colombian, who turned 28 in January, is first on the list to strengthen the team… provided, as every summer, Barça maintains the 1:1 relationship and has the financial muscle to undertake a deal that will cost upwards of 80 million euros,” the report states.
“Díaz has a renewal offer from Liverpool on the table, but is still awaiting a response, to extend his contract with the Reds beyond 2027, when his contract expires.”
