Liverpool have maintained their strong interest in Inter wing-back Denzel Dumfries, potentially revisiting a move for the Dutchman after previously attempting to signing during the January transfer window.

According to TMW, the Premier League giants remain keen on the defender, who possesses a specific contractual lever that could facilitate a summer exit. Dumfries currently has a €25m release clause in his contract—a figure that Inter does not view as prohibitive, as they do not consider the player unsellable.

A crucial detail in any potential negotiation is the timing of this clause. The €25m fee can be exercised in its entirety throughout the month of July. This window provides a significant advantage for Liverpool, allowing them a clear path to finalize the transfer without entering into a prolonged bidding war or complex negotiations with the Nerazzurri management.
