Sporting Lisbon are keen to make Liverpool target Francisco Trincao, who is not part of their plans for next season, their ‘big sale’ this summer.
Liverpool endured a difficult season under Arne Slot but secured Champions League qualification, finishing fifth in the Premier League, behind Aston Villa.
The Reds are in for a lot of changes to their squad this summer, especially with the confirmed exits of club legends Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson.
Besides that, Curtis Jones could also secure a move, with Inter Milan interested, while goalkeeper Alisson could head to Italy amid interest from Juventus.
In a bid to add more firepower to their frontline next season, Liverpool have set their sights on Sporting Lisbon star Trincao this summer.

However, according to Portuguese daily Record (via Diario de Transferencias), he will not come cheap, with Trincao set to be Sporting Lisbon’s ‘big sale’ this summer.
Sporting Lisbon are planning for next season on the basis that Trincao will be sold.
The 26-year-old arrived at Sporting Lisbon from Barcelona in the summer of 2023 and his current contract runs until June 2030.
This season, the attacker scored 13 goals and provided 18 assists in 54 appearances across all competitions for Sporting Lisbon.
Across his time with the Lions, he has made 208 appearances, registering 98 goal contributions, and has also helped them lift the Primeira Liga title on two occasions.

Slot will want to add quality reinforcements to fill the void left by Salah’s departure and may need to sell players too, with Federico Chiesa an option, as Besiktas are working on ‘reaching an agreement’ with the winger.
Salah registered 380 goal involvements in 442 appearances at Anfield, a towering benchmark to live up to, and the Reds will need to find the right replacement to challenge for honours next season.
Trincao is not the only attacker Liverpool are keeping tabs on, as the Reds are also keen on RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande.
Former Barcelona winger Trincao would not be a new face in the Premier League, as in the 2021/22 season he featured for Wolves but failed to impress at Molineux, managing just three goal contributions in 28 league matches.
With a move away from Lisbon now looming, it remains to be seen whether he will be plying his trade at Anfield next season or if another destination proves to be his next port of call.
