The Etihad Stadium is the venue for the latest showdown between the two teams that most recently lifted the Premier League title, as Manchester City and Liverpool collide.

The defending champions completed a league double over City last season, but it’s the hosts that are currently a place ahead of their rivals going into Sunday’s clash (4:30 kick-off, live on Sky Sports Main Event).

Both teams come into the match off the back of impressive midweek Champions League wins, with City defeating Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool seeing off Real Madrid.

The two sides also collected three points in the league last weekend and will know how important it is to stay in touch with an Arsenal team, who have opened up a six-point lead.
