Inter and Juventus have been trying to acquire Curtis Jones and Alisson in recent weeks, but their latest efforts haven’t been fruitful. There’s a significant gap between the Nerazzurri’s offer and the counterparty’s request for the midfielder, while the Reds straight-up want to keep the goalie, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

The reigning Italian champions have tendered €20M for the 25-year-old. The English outfit demanded €10M more. The Serie A giants are trying to lean on the fact that his contract runs out in 2027. However, such a caveat hasn’t significantly decreased his price tag for now.

While Inter hold out some hope for a possible agreement with Liverpool for Jones, Juventus might give up for Alisson. The veteran accepted their offer and is open to joining even though they didn’t qualify for the UEFA Champions League. Though the Reds plan for him to be the starter next season in his ninth year at the club.

It’s unlikely that the shot-stopper will force his way out. His relationship with the Scousers is solid. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Bianconeri could go for his teammate Giorgi Mamardashvili instead, but he’s only available on loan. David De Gea remains a possible fallback. They have also been linked to Bayern Munich’s Alexander Nubel, who has spent a few seasons on loan at Stuttgart.
