'We're good enough to reach the final' - Slot on UCL ambitions
Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain meet again with the Reds taking a 1-0 lead back to Anfield for tonight’s Champions League last-16 second leg.
A classic smash-and-grab from the Premier League leaders, made possible by an outstanding performance by goalkeeper Alisson Becker and Harvey Elliott’s late winner, means Arne Slot’s side will progress to the quarter-finals as long as they avoid defeat to the French champions.
But Luis Enrique’s team dominated the first leg in Paris and Liverpool know they cannot rely on Alisson’s saves alone against a hugely dangerous opponent, with winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia set to carry more of his threatening menace in PSG’s attack.
Liverpool are unbeaten at Anfield in 19 games, having taken another step closer to the Premier League title with a 3-1 win over Southampton at the weekend. The Reds also have Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Newcastle to consider - but for now all their focus is on PSG.
111mins: Konate hobbles off and his place is taken by Wataru Endo.
Konate makes a point of egging on the crowd as he limps back to the bench. The 12th man plays a crucial role at this stage.

109mins: Dembele looks incredibly frustrated as his snap shot is saved.
Konate is down injured, though, and PSG’s corner is delayed.

107mins: Just to point out that Liverpool still have one more substitution to make, while PSG still have two.
There is certainly a tactical battle to be won or lost as the clock runs down.

That does it for the first quarter of an hour - still nothing to separate the two sides.
With 105 minutes of football now played, both sides look exhausted. This could well be separated by a single mistake - a missed pass, a poorly timed tackle, a dropped parry.
Fifteen more minutes to fight, then penalties!
Liverpool make another change, adding Harvey Elliott for Szoboszlai. To say the Hungary international looks spent would be an understatement. A penny to know how much ground that man covered tonight.

93min: Vitinha plays a gorgeous cross in to Beraldo, whose header, again, is inches from goal.
Doue goes close again moments later.

Another half hour? Oh, go on then.
PSG take the win in normal time, but a 1-1 aggregate score means we will see another 30 minutes of play as the two sides look to separate themselves.
The half was defined by missed chances - either side has chances aplenty to take the lead, particularly Liverpool, but a dominant performance from Donnarumme means we go to extra time.
