Charlie Webb (Anything Liverpool): Despite losing 3 in a row, I'm heading into this game fairly confident that Liverpool can get a result.

There seems to be confidence in the Manchester United camp that they can come to Anfield and get a result, a train of thought that I think could punish them.

One key factor for why I am confident is that Arne Slot has had two weeks to prepare for a manager who will not change his system. If he fails to get a result, then I think serious questions need to be asked, not just against Slot, but also the players.

Hugo Ekitike has to start this game, purely due to Alexander Isak playing 120 minutes for Sweden during the international break.

I have Andy Robertson starting, purely due to Milos Kerkez not hitting the ground running and having a veteran and a leader at the back will not hurt.

I am also hoping this is the week that we finally see Florian Wirtz's chances be finished, as, despite being the game-changer everyone thought he would be, he has still been very solid, mainly let down by my poor finishing from his teammates.

It is a huge game and I'm sure there will be many talking points after the game!

Prediction: 3-1

Richard Cole (Playmakerstats): It's a cliche, but form really does go out of the window in games like these, which might actually be good for both sides.

Liverpool don't look like the same team from last season, which is not too surprising after a very difficult summer. However, there is always the fear that things just may click into gear at what would be bad time for Untied.

However, Ruben Amorim's side should be thinking of pouncing on Liverpool's more prominent defensive weaknesses while hoping Mohamed Salah continues to be surprisingly ineffective.

United are yet to win away from home so far this season and stringing a couple of results together just doesn't seem to happen. Indeed, it's not rare to see 45 minutes of excellent football followed by a baffling second half. Fortunately, there does not appear to be any fresh injuries and Noussair Mazraoui could potentially return to action.

This will also be an even bigger test for goalkeeper Senne Lammens who looked assured in his debut against Sunderland but that could purely be down to falling standards of what to actually expect from a goalkeeper.

Mount is likely to start ahead of Matheus Cunha once again with Amorim so far seeming to prefer the Englishman's work-rate – something that will definitely be needed at Anfield.
