Eight Eintracht Frankfurt players are out on loan in 2026, across France, Italy, Hungary, Austria, Türkiye and in Germany’s Bundesliga 2.
Junior Dina Ebimbe
Junior Dina Ebimbe made three appearances for Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations, with his team eventually being knocked out in the quarter-finals against hosts Morocco. Born in French but of Cameroonian descent, he made his senior international debut in their opening AFCON match on 24 December against Gabon. After the tournament, he headed back to Brittany and Stade Brestois 29, who are currently comfortably in mid-table in Ligue 1 in 11th place. The midfielder has scored two goals in 21 appearances for his loan club.
Elye Wahi
Elye Wahi’s OGC Nice are nine points worse off at the moment and sit 15th in Ligue 1. The striker was loaned to the Mediterranean club during the winter transfer window and quickly found his feet, scoring three goals in his first five matches. The 23-year-old has been in the starting line-up for six of his eight appearances thus far and has five goal involvements to his name, netting four of them himself. After missing three games through injury, he made his return in mid-March against Angers, scoring in a 2-0 away win a mere three minutes after he came off the bench.
Noah Fenyö
Noah Fenyö went out on loan at the beginning of the year to Hungarian top-flight club Újpest FC.
He’s quickly established himself as one of the first names on the team-sheet, starting in seven of nine games and recording one assist. Újpest are safely in the middle of the Hungarian league in eighth spot at present.
Hrvoje Smolcic
Another player who’s a regular starter is Hrvoje Smolcic for Turkish first-division side Kocaelispor, having been named in the starting line-up in all 23 of his appearances for the team across all competitions. The Croatian centre-back has a goal and an assist to his name since his arrival at the Trendyol SüperLig club in September 2025.
Niels Nkounkou
Niels Nkounkou is spending the season with Torino and has made three appearances so far this calendar year. The French wide man was involved in the 2-0 win over Lazio, the most recent 3-2 defeat away to second-in-the-table AC Milan and the cup quarter-final elimination (2-1) at the hands of Inter Milan.
Simon Simoni
Goalkeeper Simon Simoni finds himself at 1. FC Kaiserslautern at the moment. In early March, the 21-year-old suffered a thigh injury which briefly set him back. The Albanian has made three appearances overall this term: in the DFB Cup against SpVgg Greuther Fürth and Hertha BSC, and in Bundesliga 2 against Fortuna Düsseldorf.
Krisztián Lisztes
Having returned to boyhood club Ferencváros at the beginning of the season, Krisztián Lisztes has struggled with injuries and made just one brief appearance for the Hungarian side. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is currently getting much-needed playing time for the club’s second team in the third division and bagged a brace in a 3-0 win over Dombovari in mid-March.
