London City Lionesses have completed the surprise signing of Paris Saint-Germain star Grace Geyoro.

Geyoro joins the newly-promoted Women's Super League outfit on the eve of the new season with the deal officially being submitted to the Football Association before the deadline on Thursday.

Although not confirmed by the Lionesses, it has been widely reported by Sky, L'Equipe and the BBC that the move is a world record for a female player, with the capital club paying £1.43m.

London City Lionesses are bankrolled by Michelle Kang, the owner of Lyon

The Bromley-based outfit kick off their WSL campaign away at Arsenal on Saturday.
