Longstaff strikes late to help Leeds draw away to Bournemouth | OneFootball

Leeds United earned another important point away to Bournemouth thanks to Sean Longstaff's stoppage-time leveller.

There were four goals shared in a game between two of the Premier League's most entertaining sides all of which came in the final 30 minutes plus stoppage time at the Vitality Stadium.

Junior Kroupi has had a fine debut season in England and he opened the scoring after receiving a through-ball from Marcos Senesi before finishing past Karl Darlow.

However, the visitors equalised eight minutes later after a long Leeds throw-in that resulted in some head tennis. Willy Gnonto then had an effort that deflected in via James Hill to make it 1-1.

It looked like the home side had earned a late winner when substitute Tyler Adams put in a low ball from the right that fellow sub Rayan converted from close range to make it 2-1.

However, with time running out Leeds found a late leveller. Again it was from a long throw-in that Bournemouth didn't deal with Sean Longstaff latching on to it to make it 2-2 in the 97th minute of the game.

That result means that Leeds are now up to 40 points, which almost certainly guarantees their stay in the Premier League. Meanwhile, Bournemouth's point is sufficient to see them leapfrog Chelsea into seventh place.
