Lazio are exploring a move for Napoli striker Lorenzo Lucca, who is said to be open to the switch as part of negotiations over Mario Gila.
According to The Laziali, Napoli have made the Spanish centre-back their top summer target but will not meet Claudio Lotito’s €30 million valuation, proposing around €20 million plus a loanee with an option to buy next summer.
Rafa Marin and Sam Beukema have been discussed, yet Lucca is viewed as the likeliest inclusion. He joined Napoli last summer for €35 million from Udinese, but Antonio Conte preferred Rasmus Hojlund. He then moved to Nottingham Forest on loan in January, scoring once in nine outings.
There is interest from Genoa. Gennaro Gattuso admires the Moncalieri-born forward and is seeking a new centre-forward.
Lucca’s arrival could lead to Petar Ratkov’s exit after his €13 million January move from RB Salzburg, with the Serb yet to settle at Formello. It is unclear whether any departure would be a sale or a loan, which may depend on offers.
