Ligue 1’s 20th weekend delivered drama across the table, from Marseille’s stumble to a breakout Lyon debut and a resurgent Monaco.
After their Champions League exit, OM drew 2-2 at Paris FC, conceding a sixth stoppage-time goal this season. Roberto De Zerbi said: "We lumped balls without thinking, it is hard to explain and it is not the first time," adding, "before qualities, you need hunger," he told Téléfoot. They face Rennes in the Coupe de France on Tuesday, then the Classique at PSG on Sunday.
Lorient beat Nantes 2-1 and are unbeaten in all competitions since early November, seven wins and four draws. Ninth in the table, they are only a few points off the top six, days after a takeover by Black Knight Football Club, also owners of Bournemouth.
Noah Nartey, signed from Brondby in January, scored the winner as Lyon beat Lille 1-0. The 20-year-old completed three dribbles and three tackles, and at 20 years 119 days became Lyon’s youngest Ligue 1 debut scorer since Nilmar in September 2004.
Results, Lens 1-0 Le Havre, Paris FC 2-2 Marseille, Lorient 2-1 Nantes, Monaco 4-0 Rennes, Lyon 1-0 Lille, Angers 1-0 Metz, Nice 2-2 Brest, Toulouse 0-0 Auxerre, Strasbourg 1-2 Paris SG.
