Lorran is close to returning to Flamengo as his loan at Pisa runs through 30 June, with his future unresolved. According to Globo.com, he may not have a place on his return.
Flamengo's initial plan is another loan after he struggled to adapt and lost ground under Filipe Luís, spending time with the under-20s before leaving. Leonardo Jardim and the board will decide, and his deal runs to 2029.
It is also undecided whether he will report on Friday when the squad reconvenes at Ninho do Urubu for second-half preparations. A call is expected in the coming days.
At Pisa he made 10 appearances, one start, and scored on debut. Thereafter he had scant minutes off the bench in Serie A and the Coppa Italia. Pisa finished bottom with 18 points.
Across eight months he saw only one win, a match he watched from the bench. Early in 2026, coach Alberto Gilardino urged a better attitude, saying he had talent and drive but needed to shed any laziness to progress.
The loan carried an obligation to buy if he played half of Pisa's matches and the club avoided relegation, conditions that were not met. Flamengo received 500,000 euros for the loan, the obligation was four million euros, with the Rio club keeping 50% of his economic rights, worth R$ 3.1m and R$ 25m.
He turned down Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia, who signed Matheus Gonçalves, choosing Italy to pursue a European dream. A proposed move to CSKA later fell through after a late hitch.
