We don’t get much of a view of Enzo Fernandez’s personality off the pitch at Chelsea because of his limited English, so it’s interesting to get a view from within the dressing room.
Joao Pedro had a wide ranging interview on Rio Ferdinand’s podcast this week, where he spoke a lot about various teammates, including Enzo.
“He doesn’t talk, but the way he pushes you, the way he thinks—he thinks he’s the best,” JP explained.
“That’s why I like him. His mentality is, ‘I’m the best,’ it doesn’t matter who he’s playing against, he always thinks he’s the best. So, the confidence he has in himself is very good.”
