Lucien Cossou, aged 90, was a leading goalscorer for Olympique Lyonnais in the late 1950s.

According to Le Progres, the Marseille-born forward never played for OM, though he spent three seasons coaching the reserves. He still lives in Marseille, yet becomes most talkative when the subject is OL.

He recalls being approached by Olympique Lyonnais in 1956, while discussions in Marseille were dragging on. The project appealed to him immediately. He adds that Monsieur Forest was the man who secured his signature.

Cossou then led the line for Lyon with his talent. That spell left a lasting mark.

He still follows OL closely and often says he owes the club everything.
