Luis Enrique Rallies PSG to Finish Historic Season with Club World Cup Glory
Paris Saint Germain boss Luis Enrique's urged his players to cap off record breaking campaign with one final triumph lifting the 2025 FIFA Club World cup trophy.
The French giants will face Chelsea in the final this Sunday in New York with their eyes firmly set on historic 5 trophy season having already secured the Champions League and 3 domestic titles.
This success's come under transformed strategy with PSG abandoning their old model of big name signings in favor of cohesive collective approach.
"We have 11 stars in this team we don’t want just one We aimed to build squad where 13 or 14 players shine, not one superstar" said Enrique.
The former Barcelona & Spain coach praised the group spirit and intensity that defined PSG’s dominant campaign.
"We’ll play the last match of the season with great positivity. Finishing this historic year with title would mean everything" he told PA Media.
"The players have been exceptional and we’ve made history. This could be my best ever season as coach but only if we win tomorrow"
Despite PSG’s strong form Enrique's cautious about Sunday’s opponents.
"It won’t be easy against Chelsea. But we’ll give everything to end this exceptional season in the best way"
