Luis Milla has joined Como, where he will play in the Champions League under coach Cesc Fábregas, and he underlined his lifelong connection to Valencia: "the team I have cared about most, from the heart, has been Valencia because my childhood was there".
He made the remark in an interview with DAZN after being asked about his boyhood club.
The former Getafe player was quizzed on the subject as his father, also named Luis Milla, represented Valencia for four years from 1997 to 2001.
During those seasons he was in Valencia’s youth system, which explains the affection he still holds for the club.
His father arrived in the summer of 1997 alongside Jorge Valdano and went on to play 105 matches at Mestalla, featuring in the Champions League and Europa League.
