Liverpool entertained Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield earlier today as they hoped to secure a win and become the new Premier League champions. The Reds made a nervy start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 12th minute when Dominic Solanke found the back of the net. However, Luis Diaz equalised for the Merseyside club just four minutes later. Alexis Mac Allister completed the turnaround for Liverpool in the 24th minute when he scored with a great strike. Cody Gakpo added another goal just ten minutes later with a clever finish as Arne Slot’s men went into the half-time break 3-1 up on the scoreline.
