Carly Williams’ side have already beaten the U’s once this season in the London and South East Premier Division and will be aiming to repeat that result this weekend.
Last year, the west Londoners made history in the WFA Cup, making it to the third round proper for the first time before narrowly to losing Fulham.
On that historic run, Brentford beat two tier-four sides, in Ascot United and Saltdean United, who were then two divisions above them.
Brentford captain Maddie Phillips says the side are full of belief ahead of the weekend as the team look to extend their 100 per cent record in all competitions this term.
"It’s amazing, this is a competition we really want to continue doing well in," said Phillips.
"The magic is always there, and it gives us a chance to test ourselves against higher-tier opposition. Every game is different, and you can never know what to expect, but that’s what makes it so exciting."
Phillips has been a key figure in a Brentford side that have impressed with their consistency and togetherness this campaign, building on the foundations of last season’s performances.
The captain believes the team’s experience, combined with the progress made this year, gives them confidence heading into another big challenge.
"Even though we can take experiences from last season, we’ve learnt so much this season already," she continued.
"We want to use what we’ve built, the chemistry, the discipline, and the belief within the squad to keep pushing forward."
Phillips admits that last season's FA Cup performances have raised expectations, but insists the team are keeping their focus where it matters most.
"There’s a little bit of pressure," she said.
"We surprised people last year and went far, so of course we want to maybe go even further this time. But the important thing is taking it one game at a time and staying grounded."
As captain, Phillips has led by example in a side that continues to evolve both on and off the pitch.
She praised the collective mindset and the drive within the group to keep improving every week.
"We’ve shown what we’re capable of," she added.
"The energy in this team is unbelievable right now - everyone is working for each other, and that’s what makes us so strong. We’re confident, but we know how much hard work it takes to keep this going."
The Bees made it 10 wins from 10 games in all competitions last weekend, as they battled to a 2-1 victory against Aylesford at Bedfont.
Asees Sangha opened the scoring for the Bees but they were pegged back soon after.
Ashley Cheatley, who returned from an extended period on the sidelines, scored the winner in fine fashion to claim the three points.
Sutton United play in the London and South East Premier Division, the same division as the Bees.
The U's sit in sixth place on 14 points following four wins, two draws and three losses.
The two sides have come up against each other already in the league at Bedfont, and the west Londoners were victorious, beating their opponents 3-1.
Sangha, Renai McCrea and Chelsie Berry were on target for the Bees.
To all fans heading to Bedfont on Sunday, please be aware that there is limited parking available at the venue.
Public transport is available. Hatton Cross train station is a 10-minute walk away, while bus services are also available along Hatton Road.
Entry to the game is free and the entrance to Bedfont is located on Hatton Road. There is plenty of seating available for fans around the pitch as well as standing room.
