Madueke Gets 8.5, Jesus With 8 | Arsenal Players Rated In Narrow Win Vs Crystal Palace

Arsenal faced off against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 41st minute when Gabriel Jesus got his name on the scoresheet. Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Noni Madueke doubled his side’s advantage in the 47th minute, but Jean-Phillipe Mateta got a goal back for the Eagles in the 88th minute. The match ended with Arsenal securing a narrow 2-1 win in the London derby.
He made a couple of solid saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.
RB: Christian Norgaard – 6.5/10
Norgaard performed his defensive duties well but offered very little in the final third.
CB: Cristhian Mosquera – 7/10
He put his foot through the ball when he could and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.

Hincapie didn’t do much wrong defensively and was tidy with his passing.

LB: Riccardo Calafiori – 6.5/10
He had a solid game in the first half and was replaced at half-time.
CM: Martin Zubimendi – 6.5/10
Zubimendi put his foot through the ball when he could and made one key chance in the final third.
CM: Myles Lewis-Skelly – 6.5/10
He earned the ball back once and was tidy with his passing.
RW: Noni Madueke – 8.5/10
Madueke was a constant menace in the final third and managed to score in the 47th minute.
CAM: Max Dowman – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times and was replaced after the hour mark.
LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 7.5/10
Martinelli caused a few headaches for his marker and ended the game with an assist to his name.
ST: Gabriel Jesus – 8/10
He was a real threat up top and managed to score the opener in the 41st minute.
CB: Gabriel – 6.5/10
He was solid at the back in the second half.
ST: Kai Havertz – 7/10
Havertz came off the bench and secured an assist.
CM: Mikel Merino – 6/10
His impact on the game was minimal.
