Fodé Doucouré is now officially a player for Le Havre Athletic Club. Signed from Red Star, the Malian right-back has inked a two-year deal with the Normandy side this Tuesday, July 22, and will wear the number 13 shirt.
After three and a half seasons at Red Star, the 24-year-old is leaving the club and heading to Normandy. In an official statement, Le Havre announced the signing of the Malian international.
"After three and a half action-packed years wearing the Red Star jersey, winning the National championship in 2024, Fodé Doucouré is back in Ligue 1. A quick right-back, this 24-year-old Malian international, spotted in 2019 by the Champenois at the Jean-Marc Guillou Academy in Bamako, joins HAC with drive and ambition! He will wear the number 13 and has signed for two years," Le Havre AC announced.
By joining Le Havre AC, Fodé Doucouré returns to Ligue 1, where he made 10 appearances for Stade de Reims between 2020 and 2022. This is a fresh opportunity to experience the thrill of the top tier and make his mark on the game.
