Thapelo Maseko scored the winning goal as his new side, AEL Limassol, beat Mihlali Mayambela's new employers Omonia Nicosia 2-1 in the Cypriot Cup on Wednesday night.
The 22-year-old speedy winger came on as a substitute to produce a moment of brilliance, skipping past three defenders to unleash a low drilled shot into the bottom corner deep in extra time.
Maseko's first goal in two appearances for the club ensured Limassol progress to the semi-final of the Kypello Kyprou.
The Bafana international joined the Cypriot club on a six-month loan deal from South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the January transfer window.
Meanwhile, Mayambela didn't feature in the match as he was not part of the matchday squad after sustaining an injury on his debut last weekend.
On the other hand, compatriot Luther Singh was in action for Limassol as he and Maseko now await their fate in the next stage of the cup competition.
