Man City academy star Reigan Heskey seals Cologne move

Bundesliga side Cologne have completed the signing of Reigan Heskey from Manchester City in a deal worth up to £8 million.

The 18-year-old winger, son of former England striker Emile Heskey, has signed a five-year contract after progressing through City's academy.

Heskey made his senior debut in the Carabao Cup last season and scored the winner in the FA Youth Cup final against Manchester United.

The deal includes sell-on, buy-back and matching rights clauses, while Cologne offer Heskey the chance to play regular first-team football. He is the second City player to join the German club this summer after Jahmai Simpson-Pusey.
