Manchester United are keen on signing the Espanyol goalkeeper Johan Garcia at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old Spaniard is on the radar of clubs like Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona as well. According to a report from Eldesmarque, the player will cost €30 million if Espanyol manage to stave off relegation this season. However, his price is likely to drop to €15 million if the Spanish club go down.
Signing a player of his ability for just €15 million would be a major bargain, and Manchester United should do everything in their power to get the deal done. Andre Onana has been quite inconsistent since joining the club, and Garcia would be an upgrade on the former Inter Milan star.
The 23-year-old wants to establish himself as one of the top goalkeepers in the world, and the opportunity to move to Manchester United will be hard to turn down. They could provide him with the platform he needs right now. He might be able to push for major trophies with them in the coming seasons as well.

He has been linked with Arsenal recently. Premier League Manchester City have been mentioned as a potential destination as well.
Joining a top Premier League club could improve his chances of starting regularly for his country as well. It remains to be seen whether Espanyol can beat the drop this season. They will not want to lose one of their best players for a knockdown price. Garcia has been exceptional in La Liga, and he has the most number of out of any goalkeeper in the league this season.
He will look to help Espanyol stay up and that could allow the Spanish club to recoup a substantial amount of money for him.
