Man United and Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the transfer window.

The Serbia international appears set to leave Turin next year when his contract expires as Juve look to get the highly-paid forward off their wage bill.

Despite showing good form this season, scoring four goals in six games in all competitions, Vlahovic has been a disappointment since his €70 million move from Fiorentina in January 2022. He has registered 62 goals and 15 goals in 151 appearances.

Man United and Bayern interested in Dusan Vlahovic transfer

Despite spending £74 million on Benjamin Sesko this past summer, Man United have taken an interest in Vlahovic, according to Gazzetta. The report claims that the Premier League club have been told he is “up for sale” in January.

The forward could arrive as a replacement for Joshua Zirkzee, who has failed to make an impact since moving to Old Trafford from Bologna in 2024, scoring just seven goals last season.

United face a battle for Vlahovic’s signature, though. Chelsea have been linked with the player, while Bayern are “gathering information” on him, according to reporter Christian Falk.

It’s claimed that Bayern “held talks” with Vlahovic’s representatives when he was still at Fiorentina as they looked for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski. They signed Sadio Mane from Liverpool instead, which turned out to be a disastrous move.

Vlahovic has been “discussed” at Bayern as a long-term replacement for Harry Kane, who turned 32 in July.

The Bundesliga champions have an obligation to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson permanently for €65 million at the end of his loan deal, but club president Uli Hoeneß has said that “will never happen”.

“There will definitely not be a permanent contract,” Hoeneß revealed earlier this month. “That only happens if he plays 40 games from the start, it will never happen.”
