Manchester United are preparing a major move in the transfer market, with Defensa Central suggesting the club is willing to spend up to €120 million to sign both Nico Paz and Eduardo Camavinga from Real Madrid.
The proposal, if formalised, would immediately place Madrid in a strong financial position heading into the summer window.
The Spanish giants are no strangers to balancing their squad through sales, especially when aiming to fund high-profile arrivals.
One name already being linked to such a scenario is Enzo Fernandez.
A deal of this magnitude could provide the financial flexibility required to pursue a signing of that level, making United’s interest particularly relevant.
However, not all players are viewed the same way internally at Madrid.
Nico is considered part of the club’s long-term project. Real Madrid still retain 50% of his rights and are planning for his return to the first team after his development spell at Como.
Because of that, Madrid’s intention is not to sell him this summer. Instead, they want to integrate him into the squad and allow him to prove himself at the highest level.

The situation surrounding Camavinga is more complex.
While he remains highly valued, his recent performances have not consistently met expectations.
There is also a sense within the club that certain aspects of his form and overall contribution have dipped, raising internal questions.
As a result, he is no longer considered completely untouchable.
If a strong offer arrives, Real Madrid would be open to evaluating it, especially if it aligns with their broader transfer strategy.
That said, Camavinga is understood to be happy in Madrid and is not actively seeking a move.
At the same time, he is frustrated by his limited playing time, particularly with rising competition within the squad, meaning a move is certainly not out of cards.
