Man United star training in Spain while waiting for call from Barcelona | OneFootball

A player long linked with a move to La Liga champions Barcelona is currently ramping up his fitness in Spain.

This comes amid ongoing hopes of receiving fresh contact from those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Marcus Rashford as the player in question.

England international Rashford is one of several options being taken into consideration at Barcelona amid an ongoing search for reinforcements out wide.

The 27-year-old was previously linked with a Blaugrana switch back in January, and remains held in high regard by Hansi Flick and his staff.

In turn, as per MD:

‘While awaiting a final decision on his future, Rashford is currently training in Marbella to stay in shape and be in top condition for the start of the season.’

It is added that:

‘Rashford is one of the options that FC Barcelona have on the table to reinforce the attack next season and the Englishman prefers to wear the Barça shirt ahead of other offers he has received.’

Alongside Rashford, all of Luis Díaz, Nico Williams and Ivan Perišić are also on Barca’s shortlist of winger options.
