The Brazilian’s exploits then earned him a switch to Juventus worth €50 million between cash and the services of Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling-Junior who moved in the opposite direction.

However, Luiz endured a slow start to his Italian stint. After making a relatively late return from the summer vacation, he was lagging behind his teammates on the physical level, so Thiago Motta opted to keep him on the bench in the first few months of the season, before suffering an injury that ruled him out of action for a couple of months.

The report reveals that Fulham have been showing some intent, but it remains to be seen if they’ll be able to launch a convincing offer for both Juventus and Luiz.
