It's been a promising start to life under Michael Carrick for Manchester United.

After triumphs against title challengers Manchester City and Arsenal in recent weeks, the Red Devils are leading once again as they host Fulham at Old Trafford.

United were initially awarded a penalty kick for a foul on Matheus Cunha, but the decision was downgraded to a free-kick in a crossable position following a VAR review.

That wasn't an issue for the hosts as they went on to score regardless - Bruno Fernandes' cross was headed in by midfielder Casemiro.

Fernandes now sits on 11 assists in the Premier League this season, four more than any other player in the competition.

Man City's Rayan Cherki is next in line with seven assists, followed by the injured Jack Grealish on six.
