Manchester City and Chelsea have confirmed their starting lineups for today’s FA Cup final at Wembley. Pep Guardiola’s side are chasing their second domestic trophy of the season, having already won the Carabao Cup earlier this season. For Chelsea, today’s FA Cup final represents an opportunity to salvage something from what has been a train wreck of a 2025-26 season.
For Manchester City, they have almost a full sqaud to choose from today’s match. The City squad is in great shape for the FA Cup final which puts Pep Guardiola’s side in a great position for the show piece occasion at Wembley. However, there is one injury concern heading into today’s clash for City. That surrounds Rodri. The Ballon d’Or-winning midfielder traveled with his teammates for the FA Cup final. But his availability to play today was unknown after Pep Guardiola’s update on Rodri’s condition yesterday. Outside of Rodri, Pep Guardiola has a full-strength squad to choose from today.
Here are both team’s starting lineups for today’s FA Cup final.
Pep Guardiola has made five changes to the starting lineup he used in Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace. In come James Trafford, Nico O’Reilly, Rodri, Jeremy Doku, and Erling Haaland. Gianluigi Donnarumma, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Phil Foden, and Savinho drop to the bench for today’s match. Josko Gvardiol isn’t in the City squad after starting against Crystal Palace.
Rodri returns to the Manchester City starting lineup for the first time in five matches today. That is massive for Pep Guardiola’s side as they’ll have their most influential player on the pitch for a huge match.
