Manchester City and Lille OSC are reported to have stepped up negotiations regarding a possible transfer for Ayyoub Bouaddi (18), according to information from RMC Sport.
Whilst several leading European clubs remain on the lookout for a potential opportunity, the Cityzens are currently considered favourites to sign the young midfielder. Talks with the Moroccan’s entourage are also said to have been held in parallel.
Regarded as one of the greatest talents of his generation, Bouaddi is reportedly valued at around €100m by his club. The Manchester side now appear ready to offer this sum – or at least come close to it – in their eagerness to secure the services of the Senlis-born player.
A starter in 37 of the 42 matches he played across all competitions last season, Bouaddi continued his fine form with impressive performances at the World Cup, where he represented the Atlas Lions, who reached the quarter-finals of the 2026 tournament.
