  • Manchester City have announced the launch of “The Stones & Silva” pop-up pub at The Star & Garter to celebrate the departing duo.
  • The unique experience will run for four days, from Thursday 21 May to Sunday 24 May 2026.
  • The move is part of an emotional farewell of John Stones and Bernardo Silva after years of historic service under Pep Guardiola.

Manchester City will honour the incredible careers of John Stones and Bernardo Silva with the opening of a special pop-up pub in the heart of Manchester city centre this month.

The announcement comes as the curtain begins to fall on the 2025/26 campaign and a season defined by both a relentless title chase against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and another looming transition of the squad’s remaining old guard.

Both Stones and Silva have been cornerstone figures in the most decorated era in the club’s history, contributing to multiple Premier League titles and the 2023 Treble, with an emotional final fortnight expected including an FA Cup Final against Chelsea and a title run-in.

The pop-up experience offers Manchester City supporters a truly unique and tangible way to say goodbye to two players who have become synonymous with the Etihad Stadium’s modern identity under Pep Guardiola.

The Stones & Silva pub: Dates, times, and location

Manchester City unveiled the unique fan experience to supporters on Tuesday, revealing a pop-up pub to be named ‘The Stones & Silva’, celebrating the two iconic members of Pep Guardiola’s era ahead of their departures from the Club this summer.

Open across four days from 21-24 May, and taking over The Star & Garter on Fairfield Street, Manchester, The Stones & Silva will feature themed décor inspired by the pair’s unforgettable moments in sky blue.

Manchester City have confirmed that the pop-up pub will open from:

  • Thursday 21 May: 4pm-11pm
  • Friday 22 May: 4pm-11pm
  • Saturday 23 May: 12pm-11pm
  • Sunday 24 May: 12pm-8pm

Entry is said to be available on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the event, while official Club partner Asahi will reward the first 100 fans through the doors on each day with a complimentary beer.

A final farewell to the Etihad Stadium

The timing of the pop-up aligns with the final few weeks of the Premier League season, where City fans will still hope to be celebrating yet another league title alongside the farewell of their heroes.

With Bernardo Silva linked to a final career move to Iberia and John Stones attracting interest from top European sides looking for veteran defensive leadership, the event marks the official beginning of a major summer overhaul under new Sporting Director Hugo Viana.

For now, it remains to be seen where either play will be operating from by the start of the 2026/27 season, while it will also excite fans at Manchester City regarding who could be pursued as potential replacements to the duo at the Etihad Stadium.
