The Toon teenagers fell behind inside nine minutes at City's Football Academy as Dexter Oliver broke the deadlock inside nine minutes, capitalising on Roman Dowell's unfortunate slip before slotting the ball into an empty net.
Christian Dunbar-McDonald doubled the hosts' lead towards the half-time break, cutting inside from the left flank before firing a clinical effort into the bottom right-hand corner.
Newcastle suffered a further blow on the hour mark as Dunbar-McDonald grabbed his brace on the hour-mark, rifling a vicious strike into the top right-hand corner.
The young Magpies pulled a goal back through Henry Johnson as the United captain, who joined the club's Academy at under-10 level, headed home from Mason Miley's inviting free-kick.
Kacey Wooster was denied a sixth league goal of the season at under-18 level after missing a stoppage-time penalty, with the Romford-born striker's spot-kick pushed away by City goalkeeper Ben Vickery.
Newcastle's youngsters are back in Under-18 Premier League North action on Saturday, 7th February when hosting Wolves at United's Little Benton Academy (kick-off 11am GMT).
