The 2026/27 away kit for Enzo Maresca’s Manchester City side has now been unveiled to supporters during the club’s pre-season tour of Asia this week.

The new away shirt combines a black base with striking gold detailing across the collar, underarm stripes and sleeve cuffs, with the standout feature an all-over embossed pattern of worker bees in a direct nod to one of Manchester’s most recognisable cultural symbols.

The pale gold tone echos City’s 1989/90 third kit, adding a throwback design to what is otherwise a modern release, while the reveal follows the new home kit – launched in May – with a sky-blue gradient paying tribute to the different shades of blue City have worn throughout their history.

The two releases so far mark the start of the first full Puma kit cycle of the post-Pep Guardiola era, with the away shirt’s early unveiling forming part of a wider ‘Harbour Pitch: Built For This City’ fan event in Hong Kong, ahead of City’s pre-season friendly against Inter on August 1.
