As Real Madrid gear up for massive changes in 2026, there is a substantial amount of doubt surrounding the future of Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo.

The two Brazilians have not enjoyed the best start under new coach Xabi Alonso and are red hot candidates for a potential departure.

However, apart from these two, Real Madrid may have a serious battle on their hands next summer to keep hold of Arda Guler, who has found himself on the radar of Manchester City.

Man City ready to offer €100 million for Guler

According to reports relayed by Defensa Central, Manchester City have taken a keen interest in Guler’s services, with Pep Guardiola viewing him as a unique individual.

As a result, Man City are ready to make the Turkish international their second most expensive player in the club’s history by tabling a €100 million bid.

As mentioned earlier, Guardiola is a massive admirer of Guler’s abilities and believes he can be an ideal fit to Manchester City’s system.

Guler has already raised eyebrows with his performances under Alonso this season, notably racking up three goals and six assists in all competitions, even earning praise from Toni Kroos recently.

The young Turkish international has struck up a brilliant partnership with Kylian Mbappe in attack, which has been a highlight for Los Blancos.

His performances have not gone unnoticed either, with Man City now prepared to make him their ideal number eight next season.

However, signing Guler will not be a walk in the park for Man City, as Real Madrid have no desire to sell their star playmaker at the moment.

The player has the complete trust of Alonso and is considered a key piece to Real Madrid’s long-term plans.

Guler, for his part, is unlikely to consider an exit from the Bernabeu either, now that he has established himself as a first-team regular.
