In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Manchester United are eyeing a move for Nottingham Forest ace Morgan Gibbs-White. It has been claimed that the Red Devils are showing interest in recruiting the English playmaker this off-season.

Gibbs-White’s Impressive Record In English Football

Gibbs-White is having a decent campaign at the Midlands club as he has put in a series of eye-catching displays for them in the Premier League. The 26-year-old deserves a ton of credit for scoring 16 times and earning six assists in 50 matches for Nottingham this season across all competitions.

The English talent is currently one of the best playmakers in the Premier League. Thus, Man United would do well to lure him to the Theatre of Dreams this off-season.

His current contract at the City Ground will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for the Red Devils to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Will Gibbs-White Be A Good Fit For Manchester United Boss Michael Carrick?

Gibbs-White can find a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has the vision to create some inviting chances in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.

The English sensation can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals in the final third. Gibbs-White is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also fill in as a box-to-box midfielder or as a right-winger if asked to do so. He has a wealth of experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at the Mancunian club.

We can expect Gibbs-White to bring more quality and depth to Man United head coach Michael Carrick’s frontline. He is good enough to nail down a regular first-team spot at Old Trafford next season and could serve as an ideal successor to Bruno Fernandes in the long run.

At 26, Gibbs-White is about to enter his prime, which makes him a great fit for the Mancunian club’s needs in this summer transfer period. He might even help the Red Devils challenge for some major honours over the next few years.
