Manchester United are considering a move for Arsenal left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly, according to Sky Sports.
Lewis-Skelly made 39 appearances across all competitions last season, but he has fallen down the pecking order this term.
He has featured 14 times in the Premier League, but 13 of them have come off the bench.
United are in the market for a new left-back, with Tyrell Malacia expected to leave the club this summer.
Luke Shaw is in his 30s and injury-prone, while Patrick Dorgu is now regarded as an attacking option rather than as a full-back.
United have already been linked with Newcastle United star Lewis Hall and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nathaniel Brown.
Lewis-Skelly is the latest player to be linked with the Red Devils, whose priority in the summer is strengthening in midfield.
The 19-year-old, who can also play in midfield, is highly rated for his composure under pressure, powerful dribbling and tactical intelligence.
Lewis-Skelly signed a new five-year contract at the Emirates Stadium last year.
However, he is frustrated with his lack of first-team opportunities this season and could be tempted to move elsewhere.
Arsenal are also looking to add players to the squad, but they will need to sell some to facilitate those moves.
The prospect of selling Lewis-Skelly could be appealing for the Gunners if he insists on leaving.
